Two of Disney's teen stars are breaking away from their formerly squeaky-clean images in the new film "Spring Breakers," from indie director Harmony Korine. Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens put their newfound edginess is on display in the newest clip from the movie, which also stars James Franco.
Since the film's description very plainly states that Gomez, Hudgens and their two friends (played by "Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine) getting arrested for robbery as they try to fund their spring break trip, it's safe to assume that the snippet of the girls in a quiet room together is probably a jail cell.
Gomez narrates the short scene, where she laments that she's "tired of seeing the same things every single day. ... Everything's the same and everyone's just sad," she complains.
Check out the clip, which unfortunately contains no cornrow'd Franco, below. "Spring Breakers" is scheduled to hit theaters in 2013.
