ssin’s Creed III really got people’s attention with a demonstration of its epic naval warfare gameplay. Smartly, Ubisoft has decided to run with that and build an entire game around it.
This first trailer is only a cinematic trailer, but does involve Blackbeard and the new character you’ll be playing, Edward Kenway.
That name may sound familiar to you fans of the series, but perhaps not how you expected. Assassin’s Creed IV is not a sequel (which makes the number a tad confusing), but instead a prequel. Edward Kenway is a pirate trained by the assassins, and the father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Connor Kenway.
The only question is are you excited for some Assassin’s Creed pirate adventures, or are these games coming way too fast for your liking?
