COACHELLA 2013: Update on tickets, weekend one sold out

UPDATE: 3:25 p.m. It looks like via Frontgate you can still get GA passes for weekend 2.

UPDATE: 11:49 a.m. I’m getting reports that weekend 2 GA passes are still available.

UPDATE: 11 a.m. A friend buying tickets wasn’t able to get a regular GA pass for weekend two, only a GA shuttle pass.

UPDATE: 10:39 a.m. Coachella just Tweeted, “‏@coachella

If you are in the Coachella waiting room or purchase process, please continue to standby. Thank you.”

UPDATE: 10:13 a.m. Weekend one is SOLD OUT. Weekend two passes are still available, according to Coachella.

At 10:02 a.m. I went onto the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival ticket site to see if I could get through.

Here are the messages I received on the page:

Passes for Weekend 1 are moving quickly, and will be sold out very soon.
You will likely not be directed to the purchase page prior to sell out. Check out Weekend 2 for availability. Passes may be available with one of our travel packages.

And

Passes for Weekend 2 are moving quickly, and will be sold out soon.
Do not refresh this page if you would like to continue waiting. We will update this page if and when as passes are sold out. Passes may be available with one of our travel packages.

That makes it sound like weekend 2 tickets are slightly more likely, but not by much.

A friend just made it through at 10:07 on the Weekend 1 page.
